British Waterways contacted Fibreglass Grating Ltd for a price quotation and specification to replace the existing timber pontoon decking. The original timbers were becoming very slippery in wet weather and in the winter periods the wood became very dangerous in icy conditions.

 

In addition to improving safety standards Marina Deck provides excellent impact resistance, is easy to install and offers long term durability. The gritted anti-slip surface has one of the highest degrees of slip resistance ever measured for a walking surface. Consideration should be given to installing Marina Decking and Pontoon Decking.
